While I work as a photographer, I’m always looking for new ideas to use when I’m filming by taking things here and there and finding what works and what doesn’t as there are no clear right answers to photography. And so I really look forward to this award and I hope you enjoy what I have to show. Please have a look in anticipation as you go, “WTH is this?”

I hope the contest this time will become a major step for all of the applicants. I believe there are worlds which remained hidden from sight until this very moment.
I’m looking forward to seeing all of the wonderful artworks that the applicants are bringing to us.

Graduated from the Advertising Department at the Nippon Photography Institute, Kanako has been capturing photos of streets, destinations in her journeys, and the underwater worlds. Many of her works are presented and showcased both in Japan and overseas, and in her solo photo exhibitions. In addition, Kanako also works on teaching photography in classrooms and during events, while showcasing her works and writing regular columns for magazines.
